Thanks Chuck!

Just one note - feedblitz urls are currently blocked by EMC internal IT :-)

Hi AJ -- yes, but ...

If you try and access the feed URL directly, you get a block. However, using that same URL in a feed reader works great, as does the email subscription.

I sent a note to the IT folks about the blocking.

Flipboard, on my iPad, consumes & presents RSS feeds very nicely. That's where I read you now.

To my EMC brethren:

I was able to work with our IT team to unblock the feed URL. There were a few people who were using Outlook as an RSS reader, and they would hit a hard block.

Problem rectified, you may proceed ...

You're going to be in the same place at some point in the future because of the dependency on the feedblitz.com domain. A better option would be to CNAME their domain and have users point to feeds.chucksblog.emc.com or something similar.

Good suggestion, Raj -- thanks!

General Housekeeping

  • Frequency of Updates
I try and write something new 1-2 times per week; less if I'm travelling, more if I'm in the office. Hopefully you'll find the frequency about right!
  • Comments and Feedback
All courteous comments welcome. TypePad occasionally puts comments into the spam folder, but I'll fish them out. Thanks!
