This is great insight into the pace of development in this space, but let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater.

I am very uneasy with the line "it's starting to be seen as the potential strategic successor to the familiar relational database world", as I really don't think it is a zero sum game.

Neither do most IT professionals we speak with as we outline in this short 5 minute video walkthrough of some recent research results:


I really think we need to keep some perspective on this.
