Good post Chuck. As a Black Belt who also recently took the D-III Big Data class, it seems that Big Data analytics is Six Sigma's Design of Experiments (DoE) on steroids. As such, companies who have Black Belts in their orgs may want to look at "recruiting" them as Data Scientists - I think there's lots of synergy between the two.
