Hey Chuck,
There's probably not much we've agreed on over the last sevearl months but this is common ground!

I saw this from Storagezilla late Friday and immediately posted about it on my hp.com blog (http://tinyurl.com/p7zls5). I've also sent it out to a PDL of Christians at HP and there are many people praying for Nick.

Chuck, as we all are absorbed in the world of technology, we tend to forget we are just human and we need to connect on a very human level. When I was working for EMC a couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Carol in Pleasanton, CA. After traveling the whole week for work, I would submit my expenses to her, inevitably with all sorts of mistakes. However, she would correct them patiently and without complaint. She is one of the sweetest people I have met. Today during our church small group meeting, I asked the group to pray for Nick and Lord’s grace over him. I believe in the power of prayer and ask that God will fill him with healing grace and peace. We will continue to pray for Nick and Carol for his recovery.

Hey Chuck,

My blog site was migrated this week and as bad luck would have it, the original post I wrote in support of Nick was lost. I've re-written a post and have included the banner that someone at EMC created. The URL is http://tinyurl.com/okvrqo.

God bless Nick and his family,

I'm 1/2 Causcasian and 1/2 Japanese. My son (age 20) is 3/4 Caucasian and 1/4 Japanese. We live near EMC in San Ramon, CA (I work in Pleasanton). I just sent our names in to www.aadp.org; but if there is a faster way to get tested, we can see if there is a match.

General Housekeeping

  • Frequency of Updates
I try and write something new 1-2 times per week; less if I'm travelling, more if I'm in the office. Hopefully you'll find the frequency about right!
  • Comments and Feedback
All courteous comments welcome. TypePad occasionally puts comments into the spam folder, but I'll fish them out. Thanks!
